It may seem a bit obvious, but the first focus of self improvement should be on oneself. As obvious as that may sound, very few people actually understand what this means. If everyone understood this simple concept, this world would have many more outstanding citizens. Self improvement begins with you. You must focus on the heart of your ability. This heart is in your will. Your focus in self improvement should be mainly on your will.  Your will is what guides your thoughts and actions. Your will sets your aims, your goals. Tips To Stay Motivated to Continue Exercising During Lockdown

This Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown has hit us all so hard. One, in particular, was not able to go to the gym. With no access to equipment, I had to use household items as substitute for weights. All I have, besides my gym wear and shoes, was my Yoga mat. In the early days, I brushed off one day after another as my ‘break’ day. After a week, I started panicking that I was going to start losing the muscles I had slaved to build over the years. A big NO. I started with doing floor exercises, push-ups, squats, lunges etc. But the environment wasn’t so motivating and I lack the space in my small apartment. What used to be 100 squats became half. What used to be 1½ hours of exercise became 45 minutes with lots of breaks, especially with a toddler screaming for attention.
